Bench testing Bosch fuel pump

1996 Chimeara, Fuel pump taken off as couldn’t get it to work on car. New pump, ran for 15 minutes but 2 days later won’t function.
How do I perform a bench test?

12v on the terminals but not for too long as it uses the fuel to cool the motor.

If it does not work it may have grit or something jammed in it so try running it backwards (reverse the wires).
