Anyone ever had a broken valve spring?

Hi,

I'm just curios if anyone ever had a broken valve spring? My Chimaera 500 once started developing kind of a bipolar disorder with good and bad days. It was really difficult to assess what the problem was, as I could not really tell when it started. I just knew something was not right. We spent quite a while searching for the defect and finally found one valve spring broken and this only by accident while searching for an oil leak... I'm now wondering if I have to check the internal of my V8 more often. The motor had a complete revising only 30'000 km ago.

No not prone to failure haven't witnessed any on the LR/TVR V8 but these cars are not getting any younger they not LR OEM parts either but after-market and I would bet on Kent Cams
