What does it look like? If it's a burgundy metallic, then IMHO...

after looking longingly at loads of colours from the classifieds, ive decided that blue would be my first choice but red would come second..i say that now but when the time comes and i hear one fired up it could be sodding pink with white spots and i'll probably have it :-)

Arc, did you get a good quote on your insurance in the end if you dont mind me asking?

Hi Arc Controls

I have a Crimson metallic 98 Chim, take a look on the profile, see what you think.

IMHO I think it suits the car and was the nicest colour I looked at. Mrs HC fell in love with it staright away!

OK willing to look daft here, what does IIRC mean? BTW, mine is Crimson Starmist too but looks darker than both you two above!

Big Al / Ribol

My "poxy" colour is a bit darker than the piccy shows, must be the strong sunlight affecting the camera!

It might be Crimson Starmist, the car was originally a TMS demonstrator, written in the handbook is Crimson Metallic.

IIRC Rosso Red is slightly darker that Crimson Starmist, but I would not like to live on the difference. I think one of my headlamp surounds was sprayed with it. Unless I pointed it out I was the only one that could see it. But I had it re-sprayed because it pi$$ed me off.

Both Cherry Pearl and Crimson Starmist are very similar, marginal difference in the shape/size of metal particles in the paint. Rosso Red is a solid non metallic red, but Rosso Pearl is a lighter, more orange red ( Often suffers from sunlight bleaching)
