End of the line
Discussion
Has anybody had any concrete information on the end of Chimaera production. There's an item on Graham Browne's website (who, if you believe what he says, is responsible for almost the whole design of the current TVR range) saying that they've done a facelifted run out model.
This would be consistant with what TVR did with the Griff, but I'd have expected them to announce something before they let one of their designers publicise it on his website.

I spoke to PW at the motor show and asked him if the Chimaera was going shortly after the Griff.
He stated that there was no plan to get rid of the Chimarea and that it was part of their plans for quite a while still. It was just that there were only so many models they felt they could produce at one time and the Griff was the oldest model and so was chosen to be dropped.
Maybe the Chimaera is about to exit stage left, and I suppose only TVR insiders would know about it, anyway. The arrival of the Tamora would logically point to that eventuality. After all, the Chimaera was a 'soft' Griff, as the Tamora will be a 'soft' Tuscan, surely. As an aside, Mr Brownes site is very impressive, for a private venture, no?
