Clubsport battery

Just wondering what the correct method for securing the clubsport (ZZR1100) battery is? Think mine has always been held in with cable ties.

Yep correct Cable Ties it is. On newer cars has a very technical system a rubber strap!!!

I got pulled up by scrutineers at Castle Combe for having the battery held in like that.

I made a really basic retainer using small section aluminium angle (with a hole at each end) across the top of the battery with a length of studing either end dropping down beside each end of the battery (each with a hook bent in the lower end to go through the holes in the battery tray sides) with nylock nuts securing through the studing through the holes in the angle.
