2001 xkr

I have been offered a xkr on a 51 plate with 70k on it for £7k.It seems a very good deal although I havent seen the car yet. My problem is I have a xjs 5.3 Cabriolet and XJS 6.0l and an Alfa GT.I am losing my parking spots so I need to go down to 1 or possible 2 cars. My mileage is now no more tham 6500miles a year. Is it sensible(stupid word I know) to use the XKR as an every day car with limited mileage.
I am totally comitted to driving Jaguars now until I drop. i thought about going back to the S type D but I love the performance cars.
Or should I sell all three and spend upto about 20k on a car.

I use my XKR everyday, infact it's going in for it's 180k service next week

Keep the best XJS you hv, sell the other & the Alfa, buy the XK. Make sure you get the tensioners sorted now.

Sounds a good price but check what work needs doing as that can be £££
XKR will be easily as good a car as the Alfa GT for everyday , if the Alfas a V6 , fuel consumption will be similar too !!

My Alfa is a GT d looks stunning but then you put the key in and its such a disappointing noise.It goes well but I really need to get down to 1 car and mpg isnt really a consideration only doing about 5k per anum.

Still havent found a Car yet. Was looking to sell the XJS 6.0l and P/X the Alfa but it mught be a better bet to sell both and go in with Cash.Some nice Cars about and with only a low annual mileage the petrol dosent bother me too much. Banking on about 18mpg which is a step up form the XJS anyway.
