S type R 155 limiter

Is it true that it only limits top speed in 6th? On YouTube there's an STR that although the speedo is indicating 260 km/h the tacho suggests 266 or 165 mph

I can say from experience, that it doesn't appear to do a very good job of limiting to 155 in 6th anyway....

Maybe because the speedo says 165/170 when you are only doing 155 anyway

Were you there too?

I wasn't talking about what the speedo was saying at the time.

5250rpm in 5th is about 165, unless the tacho is wrong
