XK Eventer

I've often thought that the XK8/XKR would be a good basis for a sporting estate - similar in concept to the Lynx Eventer.

Is it feasible and has it been done?

Lynx intended to produce one when Jaguar stopped with the XJS. Sketches and plans were made, some adverts were published and some magazines told about it in period articles about Lynx. I don't think so any proto was ever made. I guess the project was stopped due to lack of orders.
