Morning all - apologies for the numpty question as I am returning to the Jaguar fold from a long absence and have just bought a 1989 V12 convertible and the wood trim does need replacing.

Any one know of a good source or someone they would recommend at all?

Kind regards

www.myrtleltd.com do an off the shelf set of new wood kit parts and offer a restoration service, or www.chapmanandcliff.co.uk will repair/re-lacquer/replace as required if you prefer to keep the original parts where possible.

I used Chapman and Cliff for my Mk 2 Woodwork. The results were excellent and they were very helpful.

Personally I would retain the original woodwork and have it restored.

I went to Myrtle as suggested and found them very helpful and ordered a full set of burr walnut veneers.
I agree MPH, I would have preferred to use the orginals but nothing left of worth to be frank so I have had to start again from scratch.

Fitting sounds relatively easy but famous last words.........

Kind regards
