my 95 x300 xjr6 had a standard 'orange and black' diff, which i was told was a LSD. I swear there have been loads of posts on here about someone developing an LSD for the X308 and XKR, along with the manual gearbox. Looks line NormanD is quoting the required contact details

Yes that is me.I swear there have been loads of posts on here about someone developing an LSD for the X308 and XKR, along with the manual gearbox.

Two things that were not available for the XKR, as well as the V8 XJR, was a LSD and a Manual Gearbox
I arranged that a LSD was made for the car, that can now be fitted by TLJaguar, I'm not part of the company.
This is a better LSD than was fitted to early Jagaurs
The other item, it's been a long time comming, is to be able to have a Manual Gearbox
The Black box is now available, so I'm in the last thows of having veriouse parts made to be able to fit the gearbox
Like the flywheel, bell housing, peddle box etc
The gearbox I'm using will be strong enough to take the power, even for highly tuned engines and have the correct ratios.
This complete kit will be available I hope in the next couple of months
If anyone is interested than do throw me an eMail
IIRC all X300s had an LSD. Easy enough to find out.
Jack both rear wheels clear of the ground and release the handbrake.
Turn one wheel and watch the other. If the opposite one rotates in the same direction - ie: both would be driving the car forwards or backwards then you have an LSD. If not, and the observed wheel wheel rotates in the opposite direction to the turned one then you don't.

The XJ40 and straight 6 X300 had the 15 HU diff while the X308 uses the 14 HU diff
