Anyone tried Falken FK452 tyres, look like good value at £150.

452s are good for the money , I run re05s are they are very good , the Avon zz3s that were on my STR were awful and even worst in the rain ??

Yes Toyo do 255/45's the same size as atandard

I've used FK452's on another car, good but feel T1-R's are better

I had Toyo T1R on my Cerbera and they are superb, but I wore the fronts out fairly quickly! smile

My STR came fitted with Vredestein ULTRAC SESSANTA and I'm very impressed with them to be honest.

Bit noisy on rough roads, but grip well and were very good in a recent rain storm.

They do seem to be on the more economical end of the market (probably why they were fitted by the dealer) but never the less I'm not even thinking of replacing them with something better(?).

I prefer the Toyos very slightly, but given the Falkens have been a lot cheaper in the last couple of years, I tend to use them instead on my TVR - they don't seem to last long on the back... Never really figured out why wink . I will be using Falkens in place of the Pirellis on my XKR shortly.
