I've just been offered a fully restored one for 4k. Not knowing much about them I'm wondering if it's worth it?
A beautiful sky grey colour but as it's a classic, these types of cars either have a "steer clear money-pit2 or "buy now-bargain" attribute if you know your stuff.
Can anyone give me any info (especially if previously owned) on what to look for etc?
Cheers
I'm afraid the term "fully restored" is not really understood by many.
As said above, a decent paint job costs more than the asking money.
But, good advice to anyone contemplating any sort of "classic car", get it checked over by a specialist before you purchase.
But you will have to pay for this, of course.
