Sat Nav Break Down

Hi there

my name is Louis, i have an X type 2.0 v6. got a Question for you all. my Sat Nav plus DVD drive has broken, i think its the box in boot ?. has any one out there got a second hand box, they want to sell. if so does it need calibrating or will it just slid straight in and work right away. please email back thanks very much

I'd set up a search on eBay. I managed to convert much of a basic sound system to premium by finding parts that way.

What is the exact problem with the Nav system ? Is the display blank ? do you have any errors/messages on the screen? Do the rest of the options on the front screen work? radio, climate etc ...

the screen is blank, nothing works at all, no radio, climate, rear screen, none of buttons work.

main dealer say its the DVD drive gone witch is in boot, its the box over DVD player, question 1 if it is the DVD drive dose it need calibrating or can i just put it in place in boot.question 2 dose anyone have a DVD drive to sell.

Yes, someone has a DVD drive to sell. A 30-second search finds it on eBay at £91.

looked yesterday on ebay but found one but not for X type, that's the DVD drive. does anyone else have one to sell.my xtype needs a DVD Drive, the one that fits in boot
