Anyone know if there Is a way to overide the speed limiter on a 61 plate 5.0 convertable? I know on the old xk 4.0 If you left it In 4th then shifted it into D it would go past 155?!

Don't know of any proper trick like that but to be fair they are pretty "soft" limiters any way. Saw 165+ in both XFR & XKR with GPS data system at the Jaguar test track at Gaydon....

Ahh right cheers, trying to convince my dad we need to prove this on the autobahn somewhere!! Only got 700 on the clock, So maybe not just yet!!

Don't think the Gaydon cars I tried XFR/XKR were de-limited
I could feel the soft limiter kick in at an indicated 165/170 ish (probably a true 160ish) - there was clearly more to come
