Took my 2.2 Estate (57 plate) in for the recall sorftware update last week to "fix" the cruise control glitch (never had an issue with it personally). Since then once I have made or received a phone call through the car bluetooth system, the system keeps trying to make a call isolating the radio
or CD player even though my phone is not registering this. Turning the phone bluetooth off does not stop the problem and the only fix seems to be to turn the car off for 5 minutes and then everythging seems to reset until the next call.

Has anyone else had the same problem and if so any ideas on a fix ( sure thye dealer will claim this is unrelated even though there is more than a coincidence!).

Any help or advice welconme thanks.

I'm not sure if it is a phone issue.
Are you sure the 'TA' traffic information function hasn't been switched on on the radio? If you're slightly out of range for the radio station, it can often cut in with a few seconds of silence and then switch back to radio/CD. Trying switching it off and see if it makes any difference.

Thanks for that mnkiboy, the TA facility is off so don't think that is the issue. What is even more annoying, is that this is an intermittent problem - just driven it this morning with no issues.
