Leak in power stearing pump.

had my XJ8 for 3 months and just discovered it has a slow leak in the power stearing pump. The reason I didn't notice it is that the concrete is badly oil stained from a previous car.My local mechanic says that if the car was standing around without much yse before I bought it, which it was, the seals have probably dried out, and has got me trying Wynn's Supreme Power Steering treatment. Anyone had any experience with this product, and does it work ?It certainly is cheaper than a new pump.
