2008 XKR brake pad change. DIY? and which pads?

Hello chaps,

quick question regarding my XKR. Looking at the pads i've noticed they are getting very low and i would rarther change them now than wait for them to start squeeling. I've changed brake pads before (missus has alittle Corsa plus i changed the discs and pads on all four corners of my 987 boxster S with no bother). Is it a straight forward job to change the pads? and am i right in thinking the XKR has no sensors? (odd for such an expensive car).
Also, any ideas of what pads to get? where i can get them for a fair price?

Any tips or advice would be really appriciated.

Brakes no different than most, there are no sensors

How do you drive the car, sometimes a bit enthusiastically?

Then go For Ferrodo DS2500 pads
