tarnished/rusty brake calipers

Is there anything that can be done about the supposedly commonplace tarnished or rusty brake calipers on modern Jags? I just bought a 2010 XF and it is literally the only issue. With the gappy alloys they are really obvious, and I would like to do something about it.

Consider yourself lucky that this is a cosmetic issue. Recently the caliper pins on the rear offside wheel on my S-Type seized. Result: new rear discs, calipers, pads etc all round, bill for £550. Particularly gaulling as it's less than 10,000 miles since the discs were replaced anyway.

considering i have seen this issue on nearly all the late model jags i have viewed, surely someone must have a solution? Clearly they need de-corroding, protecting and painting... but who, where, how much? Thanks

Rusty brake calipers... do you get a nice eastern European chap to clean it every now and then? Do they spray truck wash every where before getting the hoses out?? Aperantly this is a big issue.. I had it on my beemer, now my Jag too, my bros brand new Audi A6 is exactly the same, all calipers as rusty as an 83 beta coupe... used the same guys to wash the car every now and then...

Bigg red at Worcester do a polymer coating which resists most things in a choice of colours it is commonly used on aircraft brakes
