Hello there,

I'd appreciate your insight into this US car advert:

I am on the market for a late XKR 4.2 and was perplexed by this advert:

http://www.texascarsdirect.com/inventory/2008-jagu...

If you look closely at the pictures you will notice brake disks with crescent shaped groves cut into the discs.

Problem is as far as I can see this feature of crescent shaped groves was only available larger discs as standard on the Portfolio edition but this XKR from Texascarsdirect is not.

Any ideas on what it could be? Retrofit? Could it be standard with the CATS Super Sports Suspension? Or what?

I have exhausted my resources to identify the source of the special discs and would appreciate your assistance.

They're the Alcon performance brakes, it was an optional extra.

Yes. Agree with Steelej. They are Alcon brakes offered for a very limited time XKR, before the introduction of the 5.0 facelifted XKR.

We're there issues with these?
