S-type rear pads, with electric parking brake, DIY ??
Discussion
Any one managed to do these without the dealer tool to wind the electric parking brake in.
I've got a set to do, and am looking at the wiring diagram to make up a tool, but if anyone has done it before could help save me a bit of time.
Any help gratefully received.

I don't know whjch S Type you are working on, but on STR with Brembos and separate parking brake the parking brakes can be disengaged by holding the switch down whilst turning the ignition off.I've got a set to do, and am looking at the wiring diagram to make up a tool, but if anyone has done it before could help save me a bit of time.

I'll give that a go. Sadly its not an STR, but a 2007 diesel. It used the same caliper and pads for foot and hand brake.
When I worked at the jag dealer we had a tool that bypassed the control module and just powered the H/Brake motor fully in or full out, never done a set of pads without that.
