Picked up an S Type
Discussion
Well finally found a car to my liking.
2004 S Type Sport. 79K Full Jag service hiostory. Aluminum trim & Sat Nav.
Paid £5550.
Lovely smooth and quiet engine. Can barely feel the box changes.
Does pull heavily to the left, so expecting some suspension work needs doing.
Will get some pics up soon.

If it hasn't already been done, take it to a jaguar specialist and get the gearbox oil changed with the correct ZF Lifeguard 6 or Shell M1375.4. Do not let them convince you that you can use the earlier Esso fluid from the 5 speed boxes, or Dex III and an additive. If you change it at this point you have a much better chance of seeing your gearbox and/or torque converter last past 100k odd.
