steering wheel adjustment fault - advice please

Hi, just bought my second 4.0 sovereign x300 on lpg. Unfortunately the elctric sterring wheel doesnt move at all. the elctric mirrors dont work either (less bothered about that).

Anyone has had that problem before? could the mirrors and steering wheel problems be caused by the same thing?

All fuses are ok, and swapped the steering wheel adjustment switch with the one from my other jag that works. I cant hear any of the motors working.

Any advice would be very appreciated

Mirrors have a tendency to get gummed up as does the switch. Good clean and lubricate gets them going.

thanks for that do you knwo how i can get the switch our? yesterday everything worked, mirrors and s wheel and now they both stopped again, i think it may have to do with the mirror/memory seat switch
