Car is due for MOT.

At the last service, garage told me that the headlamp adjusters are broken and I need new lamps. Rub is that each lamp is £250 plus VAT and I need two.

I have seen some 'repair places' on the web, suggesting that these can be reconditioned. Anyone had experience of this? If not anyone know any cheap sources of said part, or breakers where there may be some replacement lamps?

Problem with existing lamps sounds to be some peg like parts inside the lamp unit.

As you don't seem to know exactly what is wrong with the headlamp units, it's difficult to offer advice.

But a hot stapler repair system should be able to make then useable if it is plastic location lugs, etc, that are broken.

Is that the same as plastic welding?
