Have any of you chaps fitted the smaller pulley to the supercharger on your 4.2s? If so, what was the result and how hard/pitfalls etc?

I am considering (want to do it!) fitting this http://www.powerhouseautomotive.co.uk/content/jagu... to my RRS S/c and thought it more likely to get a response in the Jag forum rather than the Land Rover one.

Since selling my Cerbera earlier this year, I have found the need to play with something mechanical and the wife's Rangey seems to have fallen victim to a decat and new wheels......so far.

Yes that wil help in a small way

Better to go for another Supercharger that give a real improvement to BHP

Contact TLJaguar on 0118-976-2899 regarding fitting a Twin Screw superchager then get 500+BHP

I've got one on my XKR as well as a Limited Slip Diff, a Manual Gearbox as well this month

I have the lower pulley on my 4.0. It does make a quite noticeable improvement and is well worth the £££

However, I recall the 4.2s already have a pulley in a similar size to the upgraded one, so not sure how much of a difference it would make to them.

I'm sure I read somewhere that although the smaller pulley does give impressive results the trade off is even greater build up of heat which inturn builds up to lower the power the engine produces.

Or something like that!

I was mulling over getting the upgraded rad. Would it make much difference?

Although if my numbers come up tomorrow I'll be straight in for the 6 speed box and twin screw supercharger!

I haven't done any before and after tests but personally with the usual spinning the SC by an extra 10%
just changing the electric pump to a lager one should do the job. The one I use increases the flow by some 50% if I remember

I tried using a lager pump in my Jag but I just got pissed. (Arm got sore as well).
