Just bought a 1999 XKR, and it has several 2" - 3" crack lines radiating from the bottom corner of the windscreen on the drivers side. Is this something i should be worried about? Is this a symptom of something being out of line, or just a cracked screen?

First time jaguar owner, so apologies for the paranoia!

Are they coming from behind the trim, or the scuttle?

Run a ball point pen along the crack. If they're regular cracks from stone damage, you'll feel the impact point(s) somewhere along the line.

a picture may help?

crack screens are not unusual though.

i pay £50 excess on my insurance to have them replaced. done about 3 over the years on 3 different cars.
most cracks will be a mot failure, so you will likely have to have it changed before the next mot.
