My car is in the garage at the moment with suspected shock absorber bush failure. However, they have stripped it down and there is nothing wrong with them, they have diagnosed it as the top mounts. The garage are having major problems getting this part and I can't seem to find a stockist either. Any idea where there is a good parts supplier in this area (or willing to deliver to this area). Buying from a breaker is an idea but then I may be back to square one in 6 months.

which jag is it then. obviously can parts are different for each model.

i would not bother trying to find used bushes. they are a consumable item, and should be bought new, as they dont last forever.

i find it best to look here. if you want genuine parts. chances are if they dont show a price for them, it means they are not available generally, though sometime, you can aftermarket parts.

IF your car is xj40/ x300 then its likely there are the bushes you need. very common failure, as they just dissolves in time.
