Superflex Polyurethane Jaguar rear shock isolator bush kit

I recently had the rear axle removed and rebushed on my X308 XJRV8. I also had the lower shock bushes done and a Superflex Polyurethane Jaguar Rear shock isolator bush kit fitted.

On going over speed bumps and rough road I am getting a banging/slapping noise. The mechanic advised that the poly shock isolator bushes are much harder than the originals and the noise is the springs hitting the bushes. He advised they will bed in but I have done 800 miles and the noise hasn't got better.

Having spent all this money I was hoping for no noise from the rear axle/shocks but it is still annoyingly noisy on bumpy roads.

Any thoughts?

Those Superflex bush are very hard, the Polybush ones are softer but I'm not sure they do a kit for the rear? I'd say go for OEM bushes if you want the ride to be good.

Has he put it all back together properly and done all the bolts up?

I'm going to take the car back next week to get him to check everything is back in place correctly. I may have to change back to oem.

After having the axle removed and rebushed (4 subframe bushes, Roll Bar Link Rear With Bushes and both lower shock bushes). I am still getting noise from the rear. A sort of rattle/rumble on bumpy roads.
I am wondering if these axles will always have some noise but would like it completely quiet if possible.

I didn't have the A frame bushes changed, I am wondering if this is the source of the noise.

Any ideas?

Sounds like that is the problem
