How to: X358 Washer bottle, 2008 XJR.
Discussion
My washer bottle may be leaking, or the low level sensor is acting up. I find that even when I don't use the sprayer a day later it says I am low in fluid.
I have not yet seen where it leaks.
Anyone have experience or knowledge on where the system runs, I realized last night that the filler is not part of the actual reservoir (unless it is in the wing?).
Photos would be fantastic, but even a bit of guidance. The car is a 2008 XJR, and it has head lamp sprayers if that makes a difference.
Cheers,
Rob,
Canada.

You will find that the filler is connected to the actual reservoir.
Fill it up so that it is full to the brim. Drive it for a couple of days without using the washers. Then look at the filler tube again. Has the level dropped? If it is still full then you haven't got a leak and it must be a sensor problem.

Thanks - I did pull off the cover near the wind screen that incorporates the flap that you open to get to the filler. With it off there is only a seemingly small bottle, but perhaps it extends down in to the inner fender well behind the wheel.
I have added two jugs of fluid, didn't use the washers, and later in the day the warning came on. What I didn't do is get it filled to the top as you suggested. I will try that when I can park it over a dry area - perhaps if it leaks it will also then help me locate from where (as it could even be a hose that leads to the front headlight wash perhaps.
Thanks for the suggestion.
