TYRE Pressure Sensor Warning
Discussion
Hi, Everyone, I drive a 2009 xkr 5.0l conv
just a simple question which Jaguar Stratstone in Stoke could not answer over the phone and who wanted to book my car in for a full electrical check !! OMG
I had a puncture a couple of days ago and the pressure sensor came on as expected, I stuck the space saver on and the dash showed in RED tht the sensor was not being monitored as again I would expect. I had the tyre replaced today and would expect that after a few miles of driving the system would recognise the tyre sensor again and the Red dash warning would turn off just like when you top your tyres up with air when they go down a bit and you get the Yellow warning.
My question simply is this, would you expect the Red Dash warning light to go off after a few miles, say 15-20 miles of driving?
If not would you expect there to be some kind of reset we can do without going to the trouble of booking in for a full electrical check
Thanks for reading
