Hi chaps

I've got a 06 x-type 2.0 diesel sport
The low outside temp warning snowflake on the rev counter is properly getting on my nerves.
On my E46 beemer I could acknowledge the warning and it would go away but with the Jag I don't seem to be able to do this and can find nothing about it on the web.

Is it possible to get rid of this warning?

Ta.

The snowflake comes on permanently below 5 degrees centigrade, in the current weather it might go off in March. Back in the cold winter of 2010, mine was permanently on for 4 months as I drive early morning and late evening, there is no override.

I saw that in 2010 too Domf and couldn't find an override then, I was just hoping I was being thick and there really was something to get rid of it like there was in the beemer.
Its pretty sad the Germans did this but Jaguar in their infinite wisdom chose not to.
Ah well, perhaps I'll just stick some tape over it until March then.
