Hi, some help needed in pricing my str if possible. Its almost ready to put up, just getting a full service and a couple of new tyres, fresh Mot etc.. but I'm having trouble fixing a price to put it up for. It's an 03 with FSH, 116000 on the clock, silver, all the usual kit, satnav etc...body work is ok but has a few parking scratches and the power fold mirrors have decided to stop working. I was thinking around 3 to 3.5k, does that sound about right? Any advice would be helpful

Well the 53 plate on 63k miles on e-bay is £7k so I think you should be looking at around £5k depending on how quick you want to shift it.

That's more than I thought, maybe I'm reading too much into a px offer I had, also concious the wheels need a refurb and some scratch repair work due to 6 years of street parking. I'll put it up on ph classifieds next week after said work and see what interest I get.

Hi, i have just this week bought a very late 06 with full Jag history 66k, 19" rims on, in immaculate condition in and out for 7k, granted it needs 2 rear tyres.

Just replaced rear tyres
Best deal was from clickontyres.co.uk
£351 IIRC delivered x2 vredestein ultrac sessanta .
Ps
That rear Chrome trim has sharp moulding edges on the rear, I suggest taking it off removing the sharp bits before they rub through the paint, only a couple of screws and clips.

Check battery negative terminal too as they are flimsy.

I have here the correct alignment settings as there was a TSB released.

These are the settings (lower pic) this was taken and used from an American jag forum..
You need to stop front tyres insides edges wearing away to soon.
I had mine done at a hunter 4 wheel alignment place.
J day engineering.
Cost £140
But replacing front tyres was far more expensive.
I have the actual TSB here somewhere in PDF format
