Hi, from what I have seen this sits in the boot behind a fabric material on top of the tank?? does anyone know of the procedure involved?

Cheers

I would think it's the same as the XK8

They are inside on the bottom of the tank

Do-able but a bit of a Bu**er to do

Utter bh of a job, although the XJ is easier than the XK, simply because there is more room inside the boot to work. This is Jaguar design at its absolute worst. You need a special tool to release the fuel feed and return pipes from under the tank. They are wedged in the space between the boot floor and the rear subframe.

If you don't have a car lift pay someone to do it!
