Hi Guys

One for the PH massive; one of my colleagues has just bought a 2008 XF 2.7. He claims that the suspension is 'unbelievably hard' - is there any ride adjustment on the XF?

Thanks!

I've found they're very sensitive to tyres pressures - set to 'max load' pressures when you don't need them to be = very hard ride! 34psi all-round and it should be fine. Also, have all 4 wheels balanced if they haven't been done recently, smooths things out nicely too.

If all that isn't enough, I've read that Spires does a more comfort orientated shock option. Google is your friend smile

XF 2.7 doesn't have CATS.

What wheels are on it? there is a vast difference in ride quality between the 17-18 and 19 inch wheels. I had one on 19s and it was quite hard whereas someone I knew had a more basic model on 17s and it felt like a different car. The suspension isnt adjustable.
