Finally got around to taking my X350 XJ8 to Bristol Transmissions this morning for a gearbox oil change. I'd been putting it off for a while because she runs faultlessly, but having clicked over to 85,000 miles last week decided that it was high time I got it done. First impressions very favourable indeed, very impressive business, bays full of some seriously impressive kit, very friendly staff and £240 plus VAT feels like a very worthwhile investment indeed.

Nice to hear. I tried contacting them a while back and they didn't even bother replying when I left messages. In the end TL near Reading did it for £270 at the same time as doing the tensioners. Sounds like a good price. It does make a difference, I agree.

I can report that gearchanges have now gone from barely perceptible to completely inperceptible. Impressive service, nice people, didn't break the bank, highly recommended.
