some advice please (xk/xkr purchase)

Im looking at purchasing a xk/xkr (around 25k max) and any advice would be helpful,ive never owned a jag but the xk has been a favourite of mine since i first saw one at my local dealership..

Interested in these so far,both under my top line budget but leaving some spare in the kitty for upgrades/servicing seems like a good plan.

The xk should be all i need power wise but as the xkr looks a little better it would be my first choice,thanks for any help.

Drive both Power corrupts , you can never have enough. It's not even the power , it is the way it is delivered with an R Early cars had the aerial, post 08 cars this is in the boot spoiler.

Looked at the R and didnt like the j gate or the aerial,picky i know.Looks like i will wait for the 5.0 to come into price range....

Tbh the 5.0 XKR is the car the new XK should have been from the outset. Good idea to wait, the 5.0 XK has the same performance as the outgoing 4.2 XKR. But the 5.0 'R with the adaptive dynamics & plusher interior is the only car to buy. Happy hunting.
