Thinks it suits the environment. Sorry about poor quality with it being out of focus, only had the iphone on me at the time and Facebook has squished it beyond

13/10

Just fantastic. Small niggle with an intermittent fault (twice in 2 weeks) on a steering angle sensor and a small dent in one of the trim panels, but that's it and all booked in without fuss at the dealer.

I fear the day I bring the jag in for a service and one of them is in the show room ... oh must ... resist ... temptation.

Interesting how the roofline of the coupe really connects with Keith Helfet's 90s/early 2000s F-Type concept. He really did get that shape spot on, just an impractical glass area and Ford management with no balls (or money)...

Saw this very car being ragged to within an inch of its life on the A435 heading towards Evesham a couple of weeks ago.

Even in it's camoflage colouring it looked good & it sounded even better.

Saw the fixed head today on the M42/M40. LHD model in camouflage. Sorry no pics but had a good look. Guess nearly in production now. Nice looking car

I saw one too in the same place, presumably the same one. I was lined up for a really good picture and then SWMBO couldn't work out how to use my camera phone banghead

It looked really lovely. I was surprised by how much it reminded me of the E-type in profile.

I think it will do really well, I wonder how the pricing will compare to the drop-top?

I was fortunate enough to be taken by my dealer to yesterdays recording of Top Gear and we travelled down in 3 x F types ( and yes the F type features heavily in this weeks show !!). Fantastic drivers car - you just want to drive it - its impossible to just sit there and meander along - you have to press the loud pedal and flick the gears down a couple of cogs to attack the bends . Its a long long time ago since I felt like a teenager in a car but this car has something very special about it. Yes it is too expensive and the boot is too small and its too big ( on the outside ) but the sum of all its components brings the best drivers car from Jaguar ever IMO.

I bet, I may even be tempted out of the 911 by a V8 Coupe.

Was fortunate enough to go to the Jaguar Racing Heart Experience and drive both V6 and V8 (opened also a thread on this) in Dunsfold.

Huge fun, great car. Did not find it big. It gives you the feeling of not seeing where the car actually finishes but then that dissapears when you drive.
Had more fun (and I was actually quicker) with the V6s vs the V8 as the V6 felt more precise and easier while the V8 is much more muscular to drive but I guess it is also because I am not really a great driver and the circuit was wet/Humid.
For the aound the 2 are very different. More high pitch and screaming the V6s (I guess that full rpm with the V6s for a ong run might be annoyiing a little bit), thunderous and full with the V8

Agree it is rather expensive, but the boot does not seen much smaller than similar cars (but there is no additional space in the cabin)

V6s

V8

I'll be keeping my eyes doubly peeled on the A46 (Stratford <-> Evesham) in the hope of re-spotting it!
