Jaguar x type 2.2 diesel

I am having a problem with my jaguar. When driving and lift my foot of accelerator and put my foot back on again the car gives a little stutter. I have tried fuel additives but made no difference. I have even bought my fuel at different pumps. Would welcome any help.

It could be a split inter cooler hose - does the car make a little whistle when you accelerate?

Or, your EGR needs cleaning. It's not difficult. Search for it and you'll find loads of info about how to do it.
