Actually how many DHC LHD 150s

I could "eventually" google the answer but if anyone knows, or has a link that would be great.

Thanks.

Slight O/T but the chap from Classic Cars who runs one has just had it converted from LHD to RHD. I was amazed at how expensive it was; I can't believe it wouldn't have been cheaper to sell it and buy an RHD one.

In total 9382 were made.
RHD OTS 93
LHD OTS 2172
RHD FHC 1367
LHD FHC 3072
RHD DHC 663
LHD DHC 2009

Sorry I don't have the numbers to hand for which of those were XK150S and which XK150SE models or the split between 3.4 and 3.8 models.
It might have been difficult to find the car he wanted. Some are very rare. There were a lot of changes during the years of production, I prefer the earlier cars. Conversion would probably be expensive and would have also almost certainly cut into the value of the car. However he if wanted a highly restored one it might have been cheaper to buy a non-rusty dry State's LHD one and have it totally rebuilt as a RHD one, rather than have to sort a rotten original RHD car.

xkdata.com currently lists 2123 XK150s in its database of known cars. I'm not sure whether people John Elmgreen or David Bentley would have a more complete list of extant cars, not all owners want their's listed on xkdata.

I would guess around £6k to have one done by a Jaguar specialist.

If memory serves, I think it was nearer nine.

£9K isn't a lot to spend on having work done on an XK150. Believe me whistle
