XK120 problem. Car vibrates at 3000 rpm

Any ideas what the problem could be? The car vibrates when engine spins above 3000 rpm, even when standing still. No apparent loss of power.

If it's vibrating when the car is not moving, ie, just when you rev it, it's a crankshaft balance problem.

This could be because it's running or for or five cylinders (but you said no loss of power, presumably while on the move), so it's a balancer problem. Look towards the front of the engine.
