Smart Key - Low Battery

On my XF. Does anyone know if this is a simple task of replacing the battery, or does it require a 5,000 point check at the dealer?

It's very easy

Remove the emergency key from the fob and pop off the silver edges. The you'll be able to separate the two halves of the key and access the battery

Watch out for the spring and tab that normally holds the emergency key in place.

Whe reassembling the key and putting the silver edges back the notches in them line up with the slot for the emergency key.

Battery is a cr2032
