I'm looking to change my exhaust for one that sounds more like a strong Euro V8 rather than a lazy Yank, can anyone advise?

Thanks

Or you could take it up to Leeds and Tony Banks will custom make you a full act back system for £299.

I'm tempted but also considering electric exhaust cut outs too.

Having fitted the electric cut-outs to my XJR I have a couple of pointers for anyone doing the same:
1, Try to get some of the oval cut-outs, mine are round and reduce ground clearance quite considerably
2, Check tighten all fittings on the valves etc as I assumed they would come from the factory with loctite applied, mine didn't and subsequently fell apart banghead. Each bolt now has a copious amount of loctite and no further problems

Good luck, they do sound glorious when uncorked cloud9
