EGR vacuum adjustment (2.0D) - smoke development & performan
Discussion
The AGR of the X-type is often suspected, if the engine has problems that are not really conclusive. If the mechanics inside hangs, jammed or stiff, for this nonconformist flow of recirculated exhaust gas in the intake air and unfavourable combustion conditions, which can cause smoke or delay in the performance.

By one about - as in the pictures shown - injects 50mml/0, 5 cl servo oil (as used in power steering) in the Chamber of of adjustment of the vacuum, the pushrod/mechanics is lubricated and speaks much better.
The EGR valve does well lubricated exactly what is - required of him by vacuum impulse immediately!
The note on the perfectly appropriate power steering oil originated from a forum member who has still the first EGR at its X-type on it with 200000 km/125000 Miles & chip tuning.
It is so possible. I have installed a custom theme for this extra, so that it can be more easily found.
Who can determine a positive change with this measure of its X-type may an to the topic as above in the comment please, thus "forum index >> X-type" remains and can be found more quickly.
