Here again ... any suggestions on alloys for my R

as you may have seen lol I have a s type R in my garage now, she great and thinking of some alloy upgrades sensible money tho ? any suggestions out there any one know of some good used. the ones on the car are ok but the car is drying out for some bling advise views welcome please thanks all

I have seen one with some Dished alloys on, that looked nice with a huge dish on the rears.

Be careful on aftermarket alloys as they are sometimes pretty soft and can flat spot on such a heavy car.

I think the standard ones look great on the type R. I would have them refurbed if needed and stick with them. I am keeping my eye on these posts, as I am considering the STR or XJR in the near future.

I agree: the standard wheels look great and if I had an STR I'd be happy to keep them.

My S-Type V8 SE has the standard Kronos wheels which are OK but not particularly appealing in my view. I've resisted so far in investing in anything better.

you are prob right refurb and some new rubber,, been quoted around £50 per alloy not actually sure what options a refurb offers, assuming filling and repainting or laquer. thanks for replies so far

Has to be the 19 inch Barcelona's fitted to the very last (2007-2008) R's

Finding them at sensible money will be tricky. They are about a grand each from the dealer, my car was less than that.
