Hi all
Intruder from the Aston section looking for a bit of information please, be gentle with me .
Trying to work out if my Vantage V8 will be OK on the Autoslaap train from Denbosch to Livorno. Noticed on a video that an XK Portfolio was on there, can you tell me what the outside of tyre to outside of tyre measurement is on one of those please.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Width is 2070mm with mirrors out or 1892mm with them folded.

Hi Ryan

Thanks for the very quick response but it is the outside edge of tyre to outside edge of tyre measurement that seems to be important for the train rather than the body width.

Rear track is 1608mm but that is obviously tyre centre to centre.

Hi Ryan

Thanks for that. Basing it on a 275 tyre that gives an outside to outside of 1883mm, the Vantage is 1866mm so should mean that it will be fine even though the autoslaap website gives a maximum of 1850mm.
Appreciate your help.

No prob smile

1850mm just sounds like a nice (relatively) round number to me rather than the actual max width - don't quote me on that though - take care of the Aston!

Just to add - I think the Portfolio has 20" wheels as standard therefore the rear tyres will be 285

I have been working on a similar principal ie that they wouldn't want the problems associated with making the tolerances too tight for people to be able drive along the carriages.
A little bit of confirmation just makes me feel somewhat easier.

And I wont get the wheels on the Vantage refurbed until after the journey just in case i am totally wrong LOL.
