I just saw this parked up on Weymouth Harbour!

Any ideas?

I've seen factory "disguised" cars in the same wrap .... Is it due a minor facelift, it 4wd version etc

To my mind the rear would look better if they moved the number plate up off the bumper and onto the boot lid, think it would tidy up the rear end and make it less American looking.

Agree with the number plate being moved. They look so much nicer in the flesh than the picture suggest for dome reason, much more imposing than any of the German barges.

I really like the current XJ, it's a shame the rumours for the next version seem to be that they are reverting to a more traditional 3 box shape.

The 3 box shape is what the Chinese market is asking for, and seeing as they are JLR's biggest customer I suppose they have to give them what they want.

The XJ also suffers having the least rear headroom in its class due to its coupe style rear.

That image seen above is a facelift vehicle.

Moving the plate up would also fix the weird perspective of the reversing camera, and probably make it less likely to attract road grime than the current placement!
