Finalised my F Type Coupe R spec...

Think thats about it, build date of 14th may and delivery end of the month fingers crossed.
Went out in the demo car and wow its awesome, sounds awesome and is proper quick.
i didnt drive it because i want to save the first drive till my own, but i have driven the v8s convertible so know its even better to drive than that.
Its going to be a long 7-8 weeks lol.

I wasn't brave enough to go for Firesand for my S coupe, I'll have to make do with Salsa.Yours will look amazing.

I finalised mine yesterday, seriously flirted with the Firesand but opted for white with the black pan roof in the end, looks too good in the adverts! I had been quite annoyed that I'd been given a June build date as I ordered in Feb and people who ordered weeks after me seemed to get May but looks as if I might have been bumped up to May so fingers crossed!

My spec:

Polaris White
Panoramic Roof
20" Gloss Black Cyclones
Jet Leather
Black Pack
Parking Pack
Flat bottom steering wheel with Ignis paddles
Switchable active Sports Exhaust (standard on yours Timbo)

My Porsche sold yesterday too so I'm in an Audi A1 until it arrives... Here's to hoping its soon!

Very similar to my spec except for the alloys and steering wheel, I would have gone for white if my Cayman hadn't been white, just sold mine two weeks ago, strange.

My Cayman was white too which is why I considered Firesand and both types of Red on offer, but then my local dealer got a white one in with the pan roof and I just couldn't resist! Which wheels did you go for? Also had to have the switchable exhaust once I heard it, too good to pass up on! Here's some snaps from the dealer

Yes I went for the exhaust switch or loud button as the dealer called it.I almost bought a red Cayman so thought I'd go for a red F-Type this time around.I've ordered it with the standard 19" propellor alloys but I've bought a set of 20" Blades and some other carbon fibre bits for it.Its being built next week (I hope) and its due at the dealers 1st May.

I originally put down a deposit last November at my nearest dealer, ( Newcastle) they forgot about me due to various salespersons leaving so didn't keep me informed of the ordering progress, and didn't do a few other things I asked them for, so I went to my next closest dealer (Durham) and ordered it from them in early February.The spec was locked on March 23rd, build is next week and delivery to the dealer pencilled in for May 1st, the salesman said if anything it should come earlier, so fingers crossed.

Looks great! I've not seen an F in a colour I don't like yet (other than maybe BRG which I wasn't wild about)

Thanks, I seen that car a couple of weeks ago, its at the dealers I've have ordered mine from, I took a photo but it came out looking more like Firesand than Salsa.
