Help on Engine Number Spec

I have just bought a 2000 Jaguar XK8 coupe with what is a nomal XK8 engine with an XK8-R interior fitted this Nicasil Steel liner problem giving me some concern the engine number is NC9911130508 on the V5c could anyone out there tell from this engine number what I have in the engine bay, thanks for any help offered

The engine number 9911130508 I expect would be the original engine number
Built on the 13th November 1999 at 5:08 am

Anyway, DON'T worry about Nicasil problems now
The high sulpher fuel is now much reduced that it was in the 90's

In fact they recon the original liner engines are now better than the steel liners

Actually you should be more concerned to have the Timing chain tensioners changed to the latest type if they haven't already been changed
