Picking up my new F-Type R Coupe today. I'll be sorry to see the V-8S go but the coupe is just the epitome of gorgeous. Lunar Gray with Ivory duo / Jet interior, 20in Gyrodyne black wheels, power tailgate, pano roof, vision pack and black pack.

Forecast changed and snow is now forecast for later so I drove it home at lunch time and picked up my other car. Quick stop at the company gas station for a drop of premium.

AWD is for wimps.

I wanted one before AWD was the only option. Maybe get an AWD next time. I'm not getting any younger after all....

Hi Paul.

Glad to see you have joined the darker ' R' side. They really are fantastic cars. No regrets here apart from mine is filthy all the time with the weather we have had.

It's been forgiving of occasional over enthusiasm on wet greasy roads but I have learnt to be very gentle with the right foot under acceleration from roundabouts and onto slip roads in particular.

Your is a lovely spec. I don't think they have made a bad colour for these cars. They all look great in any combination.

Hi Di

It's been parked in my garage since I took it home last Tuesday. We had 8in of snow last night and temps are set to be sub zero for the next week so no fun time for a while.

Looking forward to Spring time!
