How close are you to Somerset?

I know a man who can do it, and has done a few Jaguar V8’s.

Is the engine out or in the car still?

If in the car he can collect as he has a flatbed car transporter.

Have you thought about The Jag Specialist in Doncaster?

The name Tom Lenthall usually makes an appearance on threads such as these though you would think there must be some good Jaguar Engineers in the West Midlands

I know you said you were hoping for a specialist near Birmingham so this might not be of much help. Maybe you're all sorted now anyway.

When I had my X308 XJR, I used Jagutek in Ely, Cambridgeshire: https://www.jagutek.co.uk/ Kevin (I'm sure I remember that was his name) is extremely knowledgeable and was always very helpful, as were the rest of his team.
