F Pace 300 Sport
Discussion
Has anyone run the 2.0 petrol with 300ps, I’m toying with one as a replacement for a Superb 280, the diesel although better at towing isn’t going to like the short trips, the 3.0 SC would probably crucify me on fuel, the 2.0 should be manageable.
So if you have run one what do you think ?

I have the XF Estate with the same engine. The car is fitted with a deployable towbar, but the most I've ever "towed" is a towball mounted bikerack. So if you have run one what do you think ?
I've got no idea what you think is good or bad from an MPG perspective, but I tend to average around 28mpg per tank. That's pretty much always mixed driving. The performance is somewhere between OK and pretty good. If I behave myself then I can get as much as 34mpg on a long run, but any more than that will have you dying of boredom.
IMO the XF Sportbrake looks so much better than the F-Pace and unless you live down a heavily rutted lane, I can't see the point in the F-Pace.

Thanks, when towing its 17-21, on average it’s 22 around town and on a run it’s 30, there are very few XF Sports about, and even less below 20k. I would think with 300bhp it should feel as lively as mineI've got no idea what you think is good or bad from an MPG perspective, but I tend to average around 28mpg per tank.
